Bertie Fisher Manta Rally

Following on from last week's work of producing the GMC rally support vans I went off in search of support vehicles for Shell-Gold Card and AC Delco liveried cars as driven by Bertie Fisher and Jimmy McRae.

So far, no luck with an AC Delco liveried van, but perhaps there weren't any specifically as much of the time the privateers were supported by works vans also?  Yet to be confirmed.  

However, the Gold Card support van was revealed to be a Bedford CF, which I already have in my GM Rally stable so this was a nice convert.  The photos I found were from the National Breakdown rally and the van had a different roof rack to the one I already had drawn.  I noticed the steps up to the rack and couldn't resist turning the van though 180 just so that I could work them in.  Really pleased with the results and they are already in the Mugs and Tees, look at the Opel page on the website for more.

I am forever appreciative of those who had the foresight to take these pictures around 40 years ago and still have them and share them amongst the community.  So, if anyone can help with AC Delco vans.....
